Practice Range and Custom Game pause issue

Hi,
    I am unable to pause in the practice range or in a custom game outside of the beginning part of the match.



Upon loading into a match in either of those two modes, I am able to pause for ~5 seconds or so, after which I am unable to pause.



Multiple pause keybindings work during this interval, but none of them allow me to pause after the interval has passed?

Any suggestion?

Please help.
